Derek manages Eisele Capital, an investment and advisory firm focused on private equity in AI driven technology companies. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Pave Bank.
Derek is an entrepreneur with over 30 years of financial services and investment experience. He co-founded Silvergate Bank & Silvergate Capital Corporation (NYSE IPO 2019). He served as the vice-chairman of the board for both entities for 24 years. Silvergate was the preeminent bank serving cryptocurrency markets.
He received his MBA from the University of Houston and currently serves as an advisory board member for the University of San Diego’s Burnham-Moores Center.
