Mr. Giri is a distinguished Deputy Director at Nepal Rastra Bank with over 12 years of experience in economic research, financial market analysis, and financial sector oversight. Currently serving in the Economic Analysis Division, he has played a pivotal role in developing economic models, conducting policy studies, and leading Nepal's financial inclusion strategies.
He has led initiatives such as regulatory sandboxes and innovation hubs, and served as the Head of the Financial Inclusion Unit, Secretariat In-charge of the High-Level Committee on Financial Inclusion Roadmap Implementation, and a member of the Financial Stability Oversight Sub-Committee.
An accomplished academic and global speaker, Mr. Giri also serves as a visiting lecturer and regularly delivers keynote addresses on fintech, financial regulation, inclusion, and information security at international forums. His work continues to shape Nepal’s financial landscape while inspiring the next generation of economic leaders.
