Tom is the Director responsible for Fintech and Central Bank Digital Currency at the Bank of England.

His previous roles at the Bank include Head of International Policy & Strategy, Head of Division in Prudential Policy and time as a Senior Manager responsible for the supervision of major international firms.

He was educated at the London School of Economics.
