Gerrit Sindermann is the Executive Director of the Green Digital Finance Alliance (GDFA), leading its initiatives to co-create transformative digital, business, and financial solutions for sustainable, circular cities and the blue economy. He is also Co-Founder and President of the Green Fintech Network, a multi-staekholder association advancing Switzerland’s green digital finance ecosystem, and Co-Chair of Climate Bridges, a global initiative developing communities of changemakers to drive systems-level transformation.
Gerrit began his career with a decade in banking, spanning capital markets, risk, and strategy, before spending 12 years working with – and leading – several fintech startups. He also headed a fintech and insurtech accelerator and served on the board of its investment arm. He holds an MBA from IMD in Lausanne and a BBA from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
