Iota Nassr is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Division of the OECD, where she leads the analysis around the digitalisation of finance for the OECD Committee on Financial Markets. Some of her recent work includes analysis of DeFi and cryptoassets; environmental impact of digital assets; CBDCs; asset tokenisation and initial coin offerings; marketplace and FinTech lending; artificial intelligence in finance; open banking and open finance; and country studies of national FinTech ecosystems. Prior to that, she worked on issues related to financial markets, SME financing, insurance intermediation and the accession reviews of new countries to the OECD for the Committee on Financial Markets and the Insurance and Private Pensions Committee. Banker, working for the M&A desks of Merrill Lynch and Citigroup in London. She holds an MBA from ESSEC Grande École and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business.
