Jean-Marc joined Societe Generale in 2000. In 2005, he took responsibility for global portfolio management at Lyxor, the specialized asset management arm of the bank. From 2013, he served as Chief Investment Officer and contributed to the development of Lyxor’s activities in Europe, the US, Japan and Middle East with major pension plans and sovereign wealth funds. He left Lyxor in 2019, the company employing 600 staff world-wide and managing €137 billion at the time, to create Societe Generale - Forge and expand the bank capabilities in the field of crypto assets. Societe Generale – Forge is the issuer of the CoinVertible stablecoin and provides institutional issuers and investors with innovative services to issue and manage financial products on public blockchains.
Jean-Marc is a member of the consultative commission of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) and of the ECB New Technologies for Wholesale settlement - Contact Group (NTW-CG) on Digital Euro. He graduated in mechanical engineering from the Arts et Métiers (ENSAM).
