Masashi Watanabe is a Managing Director at the Digital Strategy Division in MUFG Bank, leading the Digital Asset Business Development team based in Tokyo, Japan.
He has been involved in the bank’s business development for more than 25years, including Transaction Banking, IT & Payments and Digitalization area, working abroad in London and Bangkok.
Prior to his current role, he took part in developing a payment platform utilizing blockchain technology in Tokyo.
