Avishek Chandra leads acceptance of payment methods and launch of new payment products for Amazon’s e-commerce business in South East Asia. He also leads APAC Payments Marketing as well as cash acceptance products across Amazon. Before Payments, Avishek had successful stints building customer first experiences in Amazon’s Last Mile business where he led the Maps product org and in Selection and Catalog systems back in Amazon HQ in Seattle. Avishek began his career as a software engineer working for a Fortune 500 FMCG conglomerate and also had a advisory stint with Deloitte. Avishek has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a post-graduate Management degree from Indian School of Business.
