Nelson Chow

Mr Nelson Chow is responsible for maintaining the stability and
operational efficiency of the financial market infrastructures under the
purview of the HKMA. Prior to his current role, Nelson served as the
HKMA’s Chief Fintech Officer for nearly seven years, promoting the
healthy development of Hong Kong’s fintech ecosystem. As a seasoned
veteran of the HKMA, Nelson served in various capacities between 2004
and 2016, including overseeing banks’ technology risk management,
business continuity planning and operational risk management, as well as
conducting macro-prudential data analysis and stress testing. Before
joining the HKMA, Nelson was a Vice President of JPMorgan Chase Bank,
N.A.
