Conny Dorrestijn

Conny Dorrestijn Prins has a 30 year focused career in innovation for the international financial technology sector. She is a non-executive Director at the UK public fintech investment trust Augmentum Fintech plc. She is a Founding Partner of BankiFi and a trusted advisor and mentor to many scale ups, including the ABN AMRO Tech Stars programme. She is an active investor through Arches Capital and a Global Innovation Awards Judge at BAI (US). She was previously Chair of the Supervisory Board to Cobase, sold to an industry partner in December 2023 and Chair at Blanco Services bv.

With empowerment high on her agenda, she actively engages and collaborates with young people to help them build 'social capital'. She is an ambassador to the European Women in Payments Network and acted as Advisory Board Member and mentor for Money2020 Europe Rise Up programme. She actively supports the Global Give Back Circle: Mentor, Educate, Empower & Employ HER for girls at risk.

Conny is a frequent speaker at international conferences. ‘Experience coupled with curiosity is wisdom’ is a key driver in her life, which led her from bringing the very first internet bank’s technology from the US to Europe, supporting the first payment hub company to a successful exit as well as working on a wide range of individual positioning issues and companies, often in unconventional ways.
